How to reach ?
You can reach Spiti through two routes, via Manali and via Shimla. The route from Manali is Manali Atal Tunnel, Gramphu, Batal, Kunjum Pass, Losar and Spiti. The distance from Manali to Spiti is 178 km and it takes you 4 and a half hours and the route from Shimla is Shimla Narkanda, Kinnaur, Rekong Peo, Nako, Tabo, Kaza and Spiti.
The distance from Shimla to Spiti is 410 km and it takes 11 hours. Both routes are very beautiful. Before the Atal tunnel was built in Manali, one had to go to Spiti via Rohtang Pass. Due to heavy snowfall, Rohtang Pass used to remain closed for four to five months.
Now after the construction of Atal Tunnel, the Manali Spiti route has become shorter and remains open throughout the year. Still, if you are planning a trip to Spiti in winters, then definitely check the weather update once. The route from Shimla to Spiti is longer but remains open throughout the year. You can start your Spiti trip from Manali and end it at Shimla as per your interest, so that many places will be covered.
Transportation
If you wish to come to Spiti by air, you can come by flight till Chandigarh or if there is a flight from your city to Shimla or Kullu, then if you wish to come to Spiti via Shimla or Manali zone, you can come by flight till there and can travel further by road.
Similarly, you can also come to Chandigarh Railway Station by train and can continue your journey by road. By road, you can reach by HRTC buses, private and shared taxis, self car or bike. Himachal government buses run from Shimla and Manali to Kaza early in the morning. These buses leave between 5 to 6 in the morning, so you can check them at Manali and Shimla bus stands.
Where to stay ?
You can stay in Kaza. Hotels, homestays, markets, petrol pumps, ATMs are all available in Kaza. Mostly you will get homestays which are the best for staying in Spiti Valley trip. Homestays will cost you 1000 to 2500 rupees and hotels will be available in the range of 2000 to 4000.

On Day One in Spiti, after reaching Kaza, stay in Kaza itself so that your body will adapt to the climate there and you will not have any health issues. On Day One, explore Kaz in the evening.
2. Key Monastery
Key Monastery is situated at an altitude of 13500 feet and is a 1000 years old monastery. The people living here have maintained it in such a way that you will not even feel that it is a 1000 years old monastery. This monastery was built in the 11th century. A large number of Buddhist monks, nuns, lamas come to this monastery to receive their religious education.
3. Langza
The distance from Kaza to Langza village is only 16 km. Langza is a very beautiful village of Spiti Valley which is located at an altitude of 14500 feet above sea level. The main attraction here is the statue of Lord Buddha which is visible from a distance. To reach here you have to walk or travel for only 10 minutes from the parking area. Langza is a village full of colors. Apart from the statue, you can also see mud houses and ancient monasteries here.
4. Chicham Bridge
This bridge is situated at a height of 14000 feet and is the highest bridge in Asia. People come from far and wide to see and take photographs of this bridge. Seeing the Chicham Bridge is a different kind of adventure, so it is a must to come here and see it, so you must come here.
5. Kibber
All around Kibber Village you will see snow-capped mountains and cold desert. Here you will also get to see many types of animals like Himalayan Wolf, Red Fox, Blue Sheep, Tibetan Donkey.
